G̱a̱mksimoon is a high-energy, fuzz rock trio led by Gitga’at guitarist & vocalist Wil Uks Batsga G̱a̱laaw (Jeremy Pahl). G̱a̱mksimoon (“sea tornado” in Sm’algya̱x) combines guitar-driven riff rock, characteristic of early punk rock & doom pioneers from the 70’s and 80’s with pre-colonial Ts’msyen melodies, and lyrics that are entirely in Sm’algya̱x.
