M̓iƛaa Miiš studied Spoken Word at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and were made a Poet of Honour at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. They have competed in competitions of poetry slam reaching top 3 and top 10 in the country, and have performed in front of Buffy Sainte-Marie, Sarah McLachlan, and other important white people.
